Marcel N. is an accomplished urban planner and educator with extensive experience in land use, housing, and environmental planning. Currently serving as the Director of Land Use at the Regional Plan Association since October 2018, Marcel N. leads research projects and staff management focused on housing and economic development. In addition to this role, Marcel N. is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute, teaching a course on water quality management. Previous positions include Project Manager at The Municipal Art Society of New York, where Marcel N. provided analysis on urban and environmental planning issues, and Waterfront Planning Consultant for the Bronx Borough President's Office, focusing on coastal protection infrastructure. Marcel N. holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Systems Management and a Green Infrastructure Certificate from Pratt Institute, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Design from Universidad de Los Andes.
