Paul Newhook

Paul Newhook possesses extensive experience in emergency services and fire investigation, holding key roles such as Instructor and Team Leader at Capital Technical Rescue since August 2008, and Fire Investigator at Regional Reporting, Inc. since July 2009. Paul also contributes in emergency services with the U.S. Department of Energy since October 2019. Previous positions include Firefighter at Canandaigua VA Fire Department from February 2002 to August 2018, Assistant Chief at Canandaigua Fire Department from February 1998 to June 2010, and Instructor with the United States Army Reserve for two decades until January 2009. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from the American Public University System, an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice-Investigation from the State University of New York System, a Master of Public Administration in Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University, and is pursuing a Research Doctorate in Emergency Planning from Capella University.
