Catherine Riches

Catherine Riches has extensive experience in aged care management and nursing, culminating in a retirement in January 2022. Currently serving as Facility Manager at Regis Aged Care since April 2019, Catherine successfully achieved full accreditation under New Standards for three consecutive years. At Uniting, Catherine took on various roles including Service Manager for the Sydney South East support team, leading projects focused on culture change and the Household model, which emphasizes personalized care for residents. Previous roles include Facility Manager at Illowra, where Catherine transformed the environment into a home-like setting, and Facility Manager at Mark Moran Group, where a new Dementia Unit was established. Catherine’s background also includes nursing leadership positions at Prince of Wales Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed managing a team and patient admissions.
