Matthew Combs

Matthew Combs is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in both resource definition and structural geology. Currently serving as a Senior Resource Definition Geologist at Regis Resources Ltd since November 2022, Matthew previously held various positions at BHP from February 2016 to October 2022, including Senior Structural Geologist and Field Geologist. Matthew possesses a strong expertise in structural and mineral systems and has successfully led significant mapping campaigns that influenced company strategy. Matthew has a robust understanding of Australian geology, particularly in the Pilbara region, and has been instrumental in enhancing geoscience processes, grade control, and data management. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Ore Deposit Geology and Economic Geology from The University of Western Australia, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Applied Geology from Curtin University.
