Steve Tavani

Steve Tavani has extensive work experience in the mining and metallurgy industry. Steve most recently served as a Principal Metallurgist and Processing Manager at Regis Resources Ltd. Steve was previously a Metallurgy Superintendent at a large gold mining company and a Principal Metallurgist at a mid-tier gold company. Steve also held roles such as Superintendent Process and Technical at a large iron ore company, Superintendent Processing Improvement at a large gold mining company, and Metallurgy Superintendent and Senior Metallurgist at a major gold mining company. Steve has also worked as a Consulting Metallurgist at a metallurgy consulting company and as a Process Metallurgist at a gravity equipment supplier. Prior to that, they served as Vice President Operations at Pacific Rare Specialty Metals and Chemicals, Inc., overseeing multiple processing facilities. Steve began their career as a Plant Metallurgist at a base metals company.

Steve Tavani holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Minerals Engineering from Curtin University.
