Alyssa Highland

Alyssa Highland is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and interpreting. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at ALYSSA G HIGHLAND since July 2024, Alyssa also holds the position of Certified Interpreter - NIC Advanced at the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc., a role held since October 2008. Previous roles include EAP Consultant at Elevance Health, LPC Supervisor at Vale Counseling Center, and CEO of The Highland Practice, where Alyssa provided individual and group counseling in American Sign Language and English. Additional experience encompasses counseling for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students with Dallas ISD and public speaking within the Deaf community.
