Chris Avery is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and events industry. Currently serving as Regional Vice President of Sales at Cvent since July 2017, Chris has continually succeeded in various roles, including Senior Account and Sales Training Executive at Cvent (formerly Lanyon and Passkey) since 2003, where skills in sales training and leadership were significantly enhanced. Prior sales leadership roles include Director of Sales at Newmarket International, where Chris managed a large team and was responsible for sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting. Chris also has a history of industry involvement, including a past chairman position at HSMAI, and a foundational background in sales management at Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt. Chris holds a BS in Hotel Administration from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
