Alberto Arroyo

Alberto Arroyo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alberto started their career as an Analyst of Risks at the Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres in 2012. Alberto then worked as an Administrator of Projects at Geografía y Topografía S.A. de C.V. from 2013 to 2015. Alberto then transitioned to a role as a Consultant in Geospatial Technologies at Sistemas de Inteligencia Geográfica Aplicados S.A. de C.V. in 2014. Alberto further expanded their expertise in space technologies as a Research Assistant in Space Technologies at the Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica Óptica y Electrónica from 2015 to 2016.

After that, Alberto joined INAOE as a UAV Sensors and Image Processing Engineer for Precision Agriculture, where they led investigations on spectral indices to evaluate crop nutrition status and developed systems for analyzing crops using terrestrial and airborne sensors. In 2016, Alberto co-founded SKYTACTIC, where they served as the COO and later became the Co-founder and Chief Operations Officer before leaving in 2020.

Alberto then took on the role of Customer Service Manager at Prospera Technologies in 2017 before transitioning to Manager of Customer Success at Agritask in 2020.

In 2022, Alberto joined Deveron as a Product Manager, and in 2023, they became a Selection Committee Member for YLAI / Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative.

Alberto Arroyo obtained their bachelor's degree in Geomatics and Geodesy from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between the years 2008 and 2011. In 2014, they also obtained a certification as a Trimble UX-5 Remote Pilot from Trimble. Later on, in 2016, they pursued a master's degree in Science and Technology of Space - Satellite Navigation from the Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica.
