Gleyce Figueiredo

Gleyce Figueiredo's work experience includes a role as a Senior Data Scientist at Regrow Ag starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Professor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from February 2023 to April 2023, and as an Assistant Professor from May 2015 to April 2023. Gleyce also worked as a Geotechnology Consultant at Funbio - Fundo Brasileiro para a Biodiversidade from February 2014 to March 2015. Earlier in their career, they served as a Teaching Assistant at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from March 2009 to June 2012 and as a GIS and Remote Sensing Consultant at UNDP from June 2010 to December 2010.

Gleyce Figueiredo completed a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction Technology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2004 to 2007. Gleyce'sstudies focused on geotechnics, rockfill dams, topography, and GIS. In 2008, they pursued a Master's degree in Agriculture Engineering from the same university, specializing in crop mapping, which they completed in 2010. In 2012, Gleyce Figueiredo did a Ph.D. Internship at The University of Kansas, where they conducted research in remote sensing. Gleyce then returned to Universidade Estadual de Campinas to pursue a Ph.D. in Agriculture Engineering from 2010 to 2014, specializing in crop production and remote sensing. Additionally, in 2016, Gleyce Figueiredo participated in a training program at the University of Bath, specifically focusing on academic writing teaching.
