Machine Learning Engineer at Regrow

Thaïs Bendixen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career as a Student Assistant at GFZ-Potsdam in November 2014 and worked until June 2015. In November 2015, Thaïs joined PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research as a Student Assistant and continued until July 2016. They then interned at SEGEMAR - Servicio Geológico Minero Argentino from August 2018 to December 2018. Thaïs worked as a Working Student at TÜV Rheinland Group from May 2019 to September 2019. In January 2020, they joined adelphi as a Project Assistant and stayed until March 2020. Thaïs then worked as a Data Science Engineer at UP42 from May 2020 to February 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Regrow Ag, starting in June 2023.

Thaïs Bendixen completed their education in a sequential manner. Thaïs started their academic journey at the Deutsche Schule Lissabon / Escola Alemã de Lisboa from the year 2000 until 2012, where they obtained their Abitur degree. After that, Thaïs attended the University of Potsdam from 2012 to 2016, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. Following their bachelor's degree, they went on to study at the University of Buenos Aires for a semester abroad in 2018. In 2017, Thaïs joined the University of Potsdam once again, this time to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences, which they completed in 2020.

Additionally, Thaïs has obtained several certifications. In April 2019, they completed the "Introduction to Python" course from DataCamp. Thaïs then went on to complete the "Intermediate Python for Data Science" course in May 2019. In March 2020, they obtained a certification in "Working with Geospatial Data in Python" from DataCamp. In May 2020, Thaïs completed the "Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1)" course from DataCamp. Lastly, Thaïs obtained the certification for "Getting Started with Go" from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education on Coursera in March 2023.
