Marija Dargyte

Marija Dargyte is a Scientist II at Regulus Therapeutics, with a focus on in vitro molecular and biochemical biology, specifically in the development of protocols for miRNA-based drug discovery and the screening of anti-miR compounds for disease alleviation. Prior to this role, Marija Dargyte spent nearly eight years at UC Santa Cruz, obtaining a PhD in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology while conducting research in Jeremy Sanford's lab and serving as a Teaching Assistant for multiple biology courses. Marija Dargyte's early experience includes an internship at Mattel in copywriting and marketing, as well as roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Junior Specialist.
