Gabe Kalmar

Gabe Kalmar has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2017. Gabe began their career as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at entrepreneurship@UBC in 2017. In 2018, they became a Director at HeadCheck Health and Zennea Technologies. In 2020, they were a Director at Rehabtronics, Bioform Technology, BarrelWise Technologies, and Sonus Microsystems. In 2021, they were a Director at MintList. Currently, they are the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Abilitech Medical, Inc. and a Director at SpineX.

Gabe Kalmar obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Virology from Simon Fraser University between 1986 and 1989. Gabe then obtained their Master's Degree in Virology from The University of British Columbia between 1984 and 1986. Finally, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia between 1979 and 1983.
