Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes has extensive work experience in information security and technology management. Mike is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at REI. Prior to this, they held senior positions at Target, Starbucks, RR Donnelley, Westwind Computing, and LaCie. At Target, they were the Senior Director of Cyber Security and Cyber Defense, leading various teams responsible for securing the company's IT infrastructure and managing cryptographic and certificate services. At Starbucks, they served as the Director of Information Security, Manager of Information Security Engineering, Dev Ops Manager - Web Platform, and Senior PM - Information Security Engineering Portfolio. At RR Donnelley, they worked as the Regional Operations Manager - Premedia Technologies, and at Westwind Computing, they were a Senior Systems Engineer. Mike started their career as a Sales Engineer at LaCie.
