Randall Bierman

Randall Bierman, CHC, MJ, BS, CIA (Inactive) has a strong background in audit services and compliance. Randall started their career as a Senior Internal Auditor/Internal Auditor at Harveys Casino Resorts in 1993 and later became an Internal Auditor at NWMB, A Blue Shield Licensee in 1998. In 1996, they worked as an Accounting Manager at Wimar-Tahoe Corporation.

From 2003 to 2009, Bierman served as the Chief Audit & Corporate Compliance Officer at Albemarle Health, where they were responsible for the entire internal audit and compliance functions. Randall established and implemented the internal audit function, conducted risk assessments, and designed controls to mitigate risk exposures. Randall also authored the Corporate Compliance Manual, conducted training programs, and prepared reports for executive management, the Board of Commissioners, and regulatory agencies.

Since 2009, Bierman has been working at Reid Health as the Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Audit Services. In this role, they oversee compliance and audit activities, manages budgets, and leads revenue cycle improvement projects. Randall also served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and collaborated with external auditors to ensure clean audit reports.

Randall Bierman, CHC, MJ, BS, CIA (Inactive) obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from California State University-Sacramento from 1988 to 1992. In 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Care Law from the Widener University Schools of Law, specializing in Health Law. Randall also holds additional certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (inactive) and a Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc.
