Andrea Carrillo Ruiz

Andrea Carrillo Ruiz currently serves as a Drug Safety Officer at Reig Jofre since February 2023. Previously, Andrea gained experience as a Pharmacovigilance Trainee at Bayer from February 2022 to December 2022, managing safety activities related to health products, conducting adverse event management, and supporting risk minimization activities. Prior roles include working as a substitute pharmacist at Farmacia Berga Culleré, where responsibilities included medication management and patient counseling, and as a pharmacy assistant at Farmacia Bosch Sagrera and Farmacia Sant Josep, focusing on medication dispensing and stock control. Andrea's academic background includes a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Industry and Parapharmaceuticals from CESIF and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, research experience at Université libre de Bruxelles involved investigating the properties of nanocrystals for cancer treatment.
