Alana Kim

Alana Kim is a skilled professional with extensive experience in data management and policy analysis, currently serving as Civic Data Manager and previously as Policy Analyst at Reinvestment Fund since July 2018. Earlier roles at Reinvestment Fund include Policy Solutions Intern. Alana's background also features work as a Data Content Technician at Point Inside, where responsibilities included creating digital smart maps and training new technicians. Additional experience includes serving as a Student Technician at the University of Washington Libraries, where attention to detail and customer service skills were honed, and as a Volunteer Intern at Community Alliance of Global Justice, where Alana organized fundraising events and facilitated community workshops. As Team Co-leader for Jumpstart, lesson planning and language development for preschoolers were key focuses. Alana holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Geography from the University of Washington, complemented by an exchange program in Chinese Language at Sichuan University.
