Kun Sun

Kun Sun has been working in the field of biology since 2009. In that year, they began as an Assistant Professor at the Polar Research Institute of China. Kun then moved to Umeå University in 2012, where they served as a Forskningsingenjör, Förste and Postdoc. In 2017, they joined the Global Health Drug Discovery Institute as a Senior Investigator and Investigator of Disease Biology. In 2020, they were promoted to Associate Director of Biology at Allorion Therapeutics. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director of Biology at Reistone Biopharma.

Kun Sun obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China between 2000 and 2004. Kun then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marine Biology at the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2004 to 2009.
