Alexandra Ballinger

Alexandra Ballinger, MA, LAMFT, is a dedicated therapist currently employed at Relate Counseling Center since October 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Mental Health Therapist at Headway Emotional Health Services from August 2017 to October 2022 and an Activity Assistant at ISD 271 from January 2011 to August 2017, where responsibilities included planning developmentally appropriate activities for children. As an intern at Headway Emotional Health Services, Alexandra engaged in individual, group, and family therapy from May 2016 to April 2017. Additionally, Alexandra served as a Promise Fellow with AmeriCorps, mentoring at-risk junior high students, and worked as a Check and Connect Mentor at ISD 191, focusing on supporting at-risk youth. Alexandra holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Augsburg University.
