Cameron Field

Cameron Field has diverse work experience spanning over many years. Cameron is currently working as the Associate Director - Early Drug Discovery Program Lead at Relation Therapeutics since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Scientist at Mestag Therapeutics from June 2021 to February 2023, and Discovery Scientist from April 2020 to June 2021. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Consultant, collaborating with venture capitalists to conduct due diligence and launch new biotech companies. Additionally, they worked as a Scientist at Quell Therapeutics from June 2019 to November 2019. Cameron's earlier experience includes being a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Immunobiology and Epigenetics from February 2016 to June 2019, an Independent Research Consultant at Avalia Immunotherapies from September 2015 to December 2015, and a PhD Student at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research from April 2012 to December 2015. Cameron also gained experience in customer service roles, such as a Summer Office Assistant at Fly My Sky from November 2011 to February 2012, a Waiter at Function Staff from 2009 to 2012, and a Sales Assistant at Mitre 10 New Zealand Limited from 2005 to 2007.

Cameron Field pursued higher education in the field of immunology. From 2012 to 2015, they attended the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Immunology. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2011, Cameron Field attended the University of Otago where they earned a BSc (Hons) 1st Class degree in Microbiology and Immunology.
