Edith Hessel

Edith Hessel has held a variety of roles in the scientific field since 1998. Edith began as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at DNAX Research Institute in 1998 and then moved to Dynavax Technologies in 2001, where they held roles such as Director and Project Leader Asthma Program, Associate Director and Project Leader Asthma Program, Senior Scientist, and Principal Scientist. In 2009, they moved to GSK, where they held roles such as VP, Sr GSK Fellow and Medicine Development Leader, VP and Head of the Refractory Respiratory Inflammation Discovery Performance Unit, and Director of External Discovery. In 2020, they moved to Mestag Therapeutics as Chief Scientific Officer and in 2021 they moved to Eligo Bioscience as Chief Scientific Officer. Edith is currently employed at Relation Therapeutics as Chief Scientific Officer.

Edith Hessel completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Utrecht University between 1990 and 1997.
