Thiago Tonelli Bartolomei has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Thiago is currently working as a Software Engineer at RelationalAI since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Shopify from 2017 to 2021, holding roles such as Senior Staff Developer, Staff Developer, and Developer Lead.

Before joining Shopify, Thiago worked at LogicBlox from 2012 to 2017, where they progressed from a Software Engineer to Principal Software Engineer and eventually the Director of Software Engineering. Thiago also pursued a PhD at the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2012, specializing in their field as a PhD Candidate.

Throughout their career, Thiago has gained valuable experience in various software engineering roles at companies like IBM, Imprint Digital Foto GmbH & Co. KG, VOSSLOH, Icaro Technologies, and Lucent Technologies GmbH.

Thiago Tonelli Bartolomei obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they attended from 2007 to 2012.
