Marcus van Wyk

Marcus Van Wyk is a seasoned leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of YMCA South Africa since April 2022. With extensive experience, Marcus has held roles such as Associate at Relativ Impact, Chief Operating Officer at Youth for Christ South Africa, and Centre Director at YFC Training Centre. As a co-founder of both We Will Speak Out South Africa Coalition and IAMAFRICA, Marcus has demonstrated a commitment to social impact and community development. Additional consulting roles include work with HEARTLINES and the South African Christian Leaders Initiative. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Movement Studies from the University of the Western Cape.
