Jawad al Souhail

Jawad Al Souhail is a seasoned automation and controls engineer with extensive experience in electrical engineering and automation systems. Currently serving as a Senior Automation Engineer at Relativity Space since September 2024, Jawad previously held the position of Senior Industrial Automation Engineer at Energy Vault from October 2021 to August 2024, where responsibilities included designing controls for gravity energy storage systems and developing PLC-based control software. Prior roles include Electrical Engineer III at Energy Vault and various positions at AMADA America, Inc., including Controls Engineer II and I, focusing on electrical control systems for automation in sheet metal handling. Jawad began a career at Kieback&Peter as a Design Engineer, specializing in building management and automation systems. Educational background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lebanese International University.
