Leigh Doyle has over 12 years of work experience in the media and marketing industry. In 2022, they began working at Relay as the Brand Marketing Lead and Content Marketing Manager. In 2018, they founded Digital Journal Group (DJG), which uses the power of journalistic perspective and storytelling to enable clients to connect with audiences and drive measurable results. Leigh also became a Partner of mesh conference in 2018. From 2013-2018, they were the VP Managing Editor and Managing Editor of /newsrooms, a mashup of journalists and marketers who create content that brands need. From 2011-2013, they were a Contributing Journalist at The Globe and Mail. From 2010-2011, they were the Founding Editor of SmallBizAdvisor.ca, a Rogers Media Publication, where they lead editorial development, built and managed a team of journalists and industry thought leaders, and grew the newsletter subscribers to over 5,000. In 2010, they started their own business, Lead Communications, and in 2008, they were a Health Editor at Glow Magazine.
Leigh Doyle attended Ryerson University from 2001 to 2005 where they obtained a Bachelor of Journalism with a field of study in Magazine. Leigh then attended EPU from 2007 to 2008 where they obtained a MA in Peace and Conflict Studies with a field of study in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
