Mike Townsend

Mike Townsend is an experienced leader in the life sciences and technology sectors, currently serving as Research Director for Life Sciences Commercial Strategies at International Data Corporation (IDC) since May 2015. In addition, Mike co-owns Release Well-Being Center, a business focused on promoting holistic self-care. Previous roles include General Manager at Adcole Corporation, President at Polytec, Inc. and Dover Instrument Corporation, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dover Instrument. Early career positions include Sales Manager at Keyence and Product Specialist at Zygo Corporation, with a foundation as an Applications Engineer at ZEISS Group.
