Anurag Pandey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anurag started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Mutual Mecaplast Ltd. in 2000 and then moved to Reliance Industries Ltd. as a Trainee Engineer. Anurag later joined the National Chemical Laboratory as a Project Assistant II, where they worked on finding solutions to industrial problems related to polymers and soft materials. Anurag then pursued their Ph.D. at Loughborough University, focusing on the fundamental understanding of processing intractable polymer materials. After completing their Ph.D., they rejoined the National Chemical Laboratory as a Research Associate, where they were responsible for the technical execution of developing indigenous solutions for stationary backup power generation applications using hydrogen fuel cells. Currently, Anurag is working with Reliance Industries Limited, where they have held various positions including Senior Manager, General Manager, Vice President, and is currently serving as the Business Head (SVP). In their latest role, they are involved in the strategic selection and planning of commercially viable technologies in hydrogen generation, storage, distribution, and utilization. Anurag's expertise lies in fuel cell system development, project execution, and techno-commercial analysis.
Anurag Pandey obtained a Diploma of Education in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic in the years 1997-2001. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Polymer Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004. Subsequently, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Polymer Physics and Rheology from Loughborough University between 2007 and 2011. Anurag Pandey also obtained additional certifications in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence from Coursera, as well as in Influencing Others and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn.
