Pragyan Sen

Pragyan Sen has worked at five companies in various roles. In 2022, they began working at Reloy as a Staff Software Engineer. From 2016 to present, they have worked at Trefis as a Software Engineer, where they are currently building and improving the core technology of the US-based startup. Technologies used include Java, JS, React, and Redux. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant System Engineer, Assistant System Engineer - Trainee, and Learning Enabler (Guest Faculty). In 2014, they worked at Bidyanidhi Institute of Technology and Management as a Lecturer. In 2013, they did a summer internship at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, where they worked on Automated Data Clustering. During this internship, they had practical training on different clustering algorithms such as K-Mean, K-Mean++, K-Median, Hierarchical Clustering, and Density based clustering algorithm such as DBSCAN.

Pragyan Sen has a varied education history. From 2009 to 2012, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science Hons from Scottish Church College. In 2012 to 2014, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University. During this time, they also completed a Japanese Language and Literature course from Golpark Ramkrishna Mission. From 2007 to 2009, they completed a W.B.C.H.S.E (10+2) Level (Higher Secondary) in Science from Gangapuri Siksha Sadan and a Madhyamik from W.B.B.S.E Jadavpur Vidyapith. Additionally, Pragyan Sen has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Completion: Java Course from SoloLearn (June 2016), an IBM Certified Application Developer - Cloud Platform v1 from IBM (February 2016), a Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) from Duolingo (September 2015), a DEV-301 from MapR Technologies (July 2015), an HDE-110 from MapR Technologies (July 2015), a shaping-up-with-angular-js from Code School (May 2015), and an HDE-100 from MapR Technologies (April 2015).
