Betty Meehan

Betty Meehan is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in federal and domestic tax compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Federal Tax at RELX since May 2022, Betty oversees federal tax reporting and compliance. Prior to this role, Betty was the Director of Domestic Tax at Samsonite from April 2017 to May 2022, where responsibilities included federal, state, sales/use, and property tax, along with domestic tax provisions and cash tax forecasting. Betty's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Tax Manager at Textron Inc. from May 1992 to March 2017, managing the consolidated federal tax return process and state tax compliance. Betty holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Providence College.
