Ruiqing Wang

Ruiqing (Rachel) Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Ruiqing (Rachel) then moved on to becoming a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005. In 2007, they became a Graduate Student at the Irell and Manella Graduate School of Biosciences. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at City of Hope in 2011 and at UC Berkeley from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they joined PrimityBio as a Research and Development Scientist. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Senior Scientist and Group Leader at CellCarta. In 2021, they joined Hengenix Biotech, Inc. as a Principal Scientist and held this role until 2023. Since 2023, they have been working as a Principal Scientist at RemeGen Biosciences.

Ruiqing (Rachel) Wang completed their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Shanxi University in 2001. Ruiqing (Rachel) then pursued their Master's degree in Molecular Virology from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2005 to 2007 to study Immunology. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Immunology from the Irell and Manella Graduate School of Biosciences between 2007 and 2011.
