Yiying Khor has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and biosciences. Starting in 2010 as a Research Student at Iowa State University College of Engineering, they assisted in developing predictive models and demonstrated excellent organizational skills in data research and documentation. In 2011, they joined B. Braun Medical as a Development Engineer, where they contributed to the successful development and mass production of an intravenous needle with a preventive safety feature. At Amgen, starting in 2013, they held roles as an Associate Engineer and Engineer, playing a key role in advancing CCI technology and leading design verification activities for combination product programs. Yiying also developed testing methods, authored technical assessments, and validated lab equipment. Later, at Genentech, they worked as an Engineer II and a Senior Engineer, gaining additional expertise in process development and engineering. Most recently, they joined Nektar Therapeutics as a DP Process Development Engineer III, contributing to the company's development projects. Currently, they are working as a Principal Engineer at RemeGen Biosciences.
Yiying Khor obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they have obtained a Certification of Project Leadership from eCornell in 2020.
