Jim Cowen

Jim Cowen serves as General Counsel for Remington Hotels since June 2005, bringing extensive legal expertise to the role. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at Ford Nassen & Baldwin P.C. from August 2002 to June 2005, and holding the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Centex Construction from April 1999 to April 2002. Jim Cowen managed the Dallas/Ft. Worth Regional office of KBR, Inc. as Regional Manager from January 1990 to April 1999, focusing on Construction Management and Civil Engineering and also worked as a Senior Attorney during that tenure. Academic qualifications include a JD and a Master of Public Affairs from The University of Texas School of Law and The LBJ School of Public Affairs, respectively, as well as a BA in Political Science from the University of Florida.
