Homero Chavez

El Cajon Workshop at Remo Inc.

Homero Chavez is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in percussion and live sound engineering. Currently serving as a Drum Set Lab Instructor and Cajon Ensemble Instructor at the University of La Verne, Chavez also works as a Live Sound Engineer for the Ontario Showband. As the Band Leader of Homero Chavez y Una Noche, a seven-piece Latin Jazz band, Chavez showcases a diverse repertoire. Additional roles include Cajon Instructor at The Freight & Salvage, faculty member at the Claremont Community School of Music, and ASE Percussion Instructor at Sycamore Elementary School. Chavez has been involved in various workshops and productions since 1990, including the El Cajon Workshop and significant audio/video projects for artists in Los Angeles and internationally. Educational background includes studies at Pasadena City College and the LA Recording Workshop, focusing on Audio/Video Production.
