Dineth Mapa is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and user experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager, Product Design at Remote since February 2024, Dineth previously held the position of Director, Head of Design - SME at Airwallex from August 2020 to August 2023, overseeing product design, branding, and user research while reporting directly to co-founders. Dineth's notable tenure at Airbnb spanned from July 2015 to August 2020, where roles included Group Experience Design Manager, contributing to transformative projects and scaling the design team significantly. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal Product Designer at Xero, where foundational products were designed for the Australian market, and as Senior UI/UX Designer at tinyme, leading key rebranding initiatives. Dineth holds a degree in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering from Monash University.
