Nazim Ahmed

Nazim Ahmed is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in technology innovation. Nazim is currently the Founder and CEO of remx.xyz, a platform that empowers creators to use web3 and AI technologies to create healthier communities through exclusive memberships and rewards. Prior to that, Ahmed co-founded and served as CEO of Creative Layer, the parent company of remx.xyz. Before their current ventures, Ahmed was the Co-Founder and CEO of CanvasPop, where they turned digital images into large format artwork and oversaw its acquisition by Circle Graphics in 2021. Ahmed also has advisory experience, serving on the Board of Advisors for the Invest Ottawa Accelerator Program. Nazim has also been involved in mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs through their role as a mentor at Founder Institute. Ahmed's early career includes technical sales and molecular biology roles at Bio-Rad Laboratories and CHEO Research Institute respectively. Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated a passion for technology-driven innovation and business growth.

Nazim Ahmed completed their Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Genetics from Western University between 1997 and 2000. Nazim then pursued further education in the field of Computer Software Engineering from the University of Ottawa between 2000 and 2002, although they did not receive a degree during this period.
