Elizabeth Avery

Elizabeth Avery is an experienced educator specializing in math education, currently serving as a Math Specialist at Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts since August 2018. Elizabeth’s previous roles include Instructional Coach and 2nd Grade Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools, as well as teaching English to 2nd graders at Anubanchonburi School. Throughout a diverse career, Elizabeth has successfully planned and implemented curriculum, analyzed student performance data, and delivered professional development training. Additional experiences include serving as a Title Abstractor at Long Consulting Group, LLC, teaching 3rd grade at Cora Kelly Elementary, and interning at Park Forest Elementary School. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Media Design from Western Governors University.
