Joann Kolesar

Joann Kolesar, CPA has extensive work experience in various financial and accounting roles. Joann started their career at First Commonwealth in 1991 as a Controller, where they served until 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they worked as a Controller at Guardian Life. Joann then joined WellPoint as Director of Regulatory Reporting from 2005 to 2009. Joann continued their career at The Warranty Group in 2010 as an Accounting Contractor, leading internal audits and managing annual statutory filings. From 2014 to 2018, they held positions at Anthem, Inc., including Regulatory Reporting Manager and Regulatory Reporting, Accounting & Analysis roles. Joann'smost recent experience includes working at Renaissance Life and Health Insurance Company of America since 2018, where they were a Manager of Regulatory Reporting, then promoted to Director of Accounting and Reporting, and currently holds the position of VP Controller.

Joann Kolesar, CPA has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. Joann also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Aurora University.
