Yufan Brandon Chen, MD, FACOG FPMRS

Yufan Brandon Chen, MD, FACOG, FPMRS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Yufan Brandon is currently working at Kern Medical as the Director of Clinical Research, Associate Program Director for the OBGYN Residency Program, and a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Specialist. Previously, they held the position of an Assistant Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Yufan Brandon also co-founded Renalis and served as the Chief Medical Officer. Yufan completed their Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center and worked as a Locum tenens physician in OBGYN at Weatherby Healthcare. Yufan Brandon has also worked as an OBGYN at Galesburg Cottage Hospital and Samaritan Health Services. Yufan began their medical career as a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente. Overall, Yufan has gained extensive experience in various roles in the medical field.

Yufan Brandon Chen, MD, FACOG, FPMRS completed their education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 2008 to 2012, earning their medical degree (M.D.). Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering. Yufan Brandon Chen has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Board Certified Subspecialist in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, which they earned from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in April 2022. In January 2019, they obtained their ABOG Board Certification from the same institution.
