Lauren McElaney

Lauren McElaney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lauren is currently a Product Designer at Renegade Furniture Group since May 2021. Prior to this, Lauren worked as a self-employed Web/UI Designer, where they rapidly developed and iterated product and feature prototypes. Lauren also served as a User Experience Designer at RIFFIT, where they created design mockups and prototypes to enhance user experiences. Additionally, Lauren worked as a UI Designer at a Stealth Startup, responsible for Information Architecture and Interaction Design. Lauren has a background in photography and worked as a Photographer for their own business, Lauren Jeanne Photography, from 2007 to 2020. Lauren also gained customer service experience as a Customer Care Representative at Sole Society and a Member Services Specialist at Thrive Market. Lauren started their career as a Child Care Attendant and Camp Counselor at Oshman Family JCC, and also worked as a Web Designer at Poolside Concierge.

Lauren McElaney pursued their education in User Experience Design from 2018 to 2019 at Bloc, where they specialized in UI/UX Design. In addition, they obtained a certification in Google UX Design from Google in April 2021.
