Marco Giannettoni

Marco Giannettoni is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer, Chief Product Officer, Board Member, and CTO - Head of Smart Hybrid Energy Solutions unit at Renergetica since 2009. Renergetica, based in Genoa, Italy, specializes in the development of renewable energy projects and has successfully installed over 150 MW of photovoltaic and wind plants in Europe. Prior to this role, Marco held the position of CTO and General Director at SunWise srl and worked as a research fellow at the University of Genoa, where involvement in various international research projects included the development of systems for renewable energy integration and safety-related validations. Additionally, Marco served as Technical Director at Synergy s.r.l., contributing to engineering and project management within the energy domain. Marco holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Genoa, encompassing expertise in power generation, transmission, and industrial automation.
