Hong Gap Chua

Hong Gap Chua is a seasoned professional in process engineering with significant experience in the semiconductor and solar energy industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Process Engineering at REC since February 2014, Hong Gap Chua has expertise in cell division and advanced technologies such as Heterojunction Technology (HJT) and TOPCon. Previous roles include Manager and Section Lead in process engineering, focused on innovative cell technologies. Before joining REC, Hong Gap Chua worked at STMicroelectronics from October 2007 to February 2014 as a Senior Process Engineer, contributing to cost efficiency and industrialization in diffusion and wet clean processes. Hong Gap Chua holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, completed in 2007.
