Adam Schmetzko

Adam Schmetzko's work experience begins in 2007 when they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Harris Group Inc. During this time, they focused on process design and analysis for power generation facilities, industrial processing facilities, and gas processing facilities. Adam performed process simulations, developed process flow diagrams, created project documents, and conducted engineering calculations.

In 2011, Adam joined Tetra Tech Rooney as a Project Engineer. Here, they executed complex oil and gas design projects, including crude oil pipelines and pipeline upgrades, pumping facilities, processing and storage facilities, and horizontal directional drilling for various crossings. Adam was responsible for delivering proposals, cost estimates, equipment specifications, bid evaluations, site layout designs, construction and demolition drawings, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, test details & schematics, and bill of materials. Additionally, they engaged in communication with vendors and clients for engineering drawing reviews. Adam'stenure at Tetra Tech Rooney lasted until March 2020.

Most recently, in 2021, Adam joined RES as an Assistant Engineering Manager. In this role, they focused on managing engineering projects and providing support to the engineering team. Then in November 2022, they transitioned to the role of Engineering Project Manager at RES.

Overall, Adam has demonstrated expertise in engineering project management, process design, analysis, and simulation, as well as proficiency in delivering various engineering documents and drawings.

Adam Schmetzko earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In April 2006, they obtained the Engineer in Training certification from the Colorado Department of Regulations. Furthermore, in January 2021, Adam achieved two certifications, Procore Certified: Architect and Procore Certified: Engineer, from Procore Technologies.
