Lead Structural Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems

Anna Philip has a diverse range of work experience in the field of offshore engineering. Anna started their career at Scott Wilson as an Assistant Engineer from September 2005 to November 2006. Anna then joined Ramboll UK - Energy as a Design Engineer from May 2008 to March 2009, followed by a role as an Offshore Design Engineer from March 2009 to July 2011.

In 2011, Anna joined RES Offshore as an Offshore Structural Engineer. In this role, they worked on various projects including the West of Duddon Sands Met Mast EPCI as the Lead Structural Engineer. Anna was also responsible for the management of independent verification processes, sub-contractors, and consultants. Additionally, Anna served as the Engineering Manager for the Celtic Array Met Mast project and performed an independent verification for the East Anglia Offshore Met Mast project. Anna was involved in the FEED for the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm and conducted a fatigue life assessment for the Race Bank Offshore Met Mast.

Anna's career at RES Offshore progressed, and they became the Lead Structural Engineer in August 2015. As the Manager of the Civil and Structural Engineering team, they led the team in the successful completion of projects such as a 500MW Offshore Wind Farm in France and a 550MW Offshore Wind Farm in the UK. Their responsibilities also included project management of all RES scopes of work, as well as the preparation of RFP documentation for substructures.

Overall, Anna Philip has demonstrated expertise in offshore engineering, project management, and leadership throughout their career.

Anna Philip graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2005 with an MEng degree in Structural Engineering and Architecture.
