Deric Merkey

Deric Merkey has work experience in the renewable energy and environmental engineering fields. Deric worked at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. from 2016 to present, starting as a Field Engineer II and later advancing to the positions of Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager. Prior to that, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University from August 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they conducted DNA extractions and QPCR analyses for a research project on the degradation of triclosan, an antimicrobial substance.

Deric Merkey attended Oklahoma State University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
