Hany D.

Hany D. has over 25 years of work experience in various project management roles in the energy, chemical, resources, and power sectors. Hany served as the Director of Projects at RES Americas since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Worley as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing major EPC/EPCM projects in the energy, chemical, and resources industries. During their time at Worley, they were seconded to Rio Tinto for 15 months. Before joining Worley, Hany D. worked at SNC-Lavalin as an Interim Director and Senior Project Manager, managing a portfolio of power and renewable projects. Hany also worked at VINCI Energies as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing major oil and gas projects in the Middle East. Hany D. started their career at Alstom Power as a Senior Project Manager and began their professional journey as a Project Engineer at Shell.

Hany D. has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University. Hany also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo. Additionally, they have obtained a Master's degree in Project Management from The George Washington University. Furthermore, Hany has obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2014 and a Professional Engineer P.Eng certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in September 2014.
