Jake Menday

Jake Menday has a work experience spanning from 2019 to the present. Jake worked as a Civil Operations Engineer at RES since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Civil Engineering Graduate Apprentice at the same company from August 2019 to July 2022. Before joining RES, Jake served in the Royal Navy from 2013 to 2018. Jake held the position of Senior Air Engineering Technician - Air Weapons Party from October 2013 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Air Engineering Technician for 845 Naval Air Squadron from December 2014 to July 2015.

Jake Menday has a strong education history in the field of Civil Engineering and Construction Management. Jake obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Heriot-Watt University from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland between 2018 and 2022. Jake also holds a Scottish Highers qualification in English Language and Literature, General from UHI, which they completed from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have a Level 2 NVQ Aeronautical Engineering degree from HMS Sultan obtained in 2014.

Furthermore, Jake has an IOSH - Managing Safely certification from Arco Professional Safety Services Ltd, obtained in May 2021. Jake holds a Project Fundamentals Qualification from the Association for Project Management, obtained in the same month and year. Jake's certifications also include Safepass from SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna) acquired in February 2020, an Academically Qualified Person certification from the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) obtained in October 2019, and a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification from CITB obtained in August 2021.
