Lesley Waterson

Lesley Waterson has a diverse range of work experiences, starting with their current role as a Development Manager at RES, where they began in 2022. Before that, they worked at Tesla from 2020 to 2022, starting as a Global Supply Analyst and later becoming a Global Supply Management Intern. At Tesla, Waterson led negotiations in global procurement strategy, supported sourcing for all vehicles, and managed daily supply chain needs for suppliers. Lesley collaborated with various cross-functional teams and provided detailed analysis for quotes received. Prior to Tesla, they worked as a Volunteer and Study Abroad Project Coordinator at the University of Central Arkansas from 2018 to 2019. In 2015, Waterson became a Business Owner and Operator of Streetside Crêperie, a farm-to-table restaurant. Lesley secured funding, oversaw construction, managed suppliers, and implemented marketing campaigns that increased revenue and customer retention rates. Before the restaurant venture, they worked at Heifer International as a Multi-Farm Community Supported Agriculture Project Coordinator from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, Waterson has had internships at Start-Up Chile and Acxiom Corporation, where they gained experience in business associate and technical writing roles, respectively.
