Shay Geula

Shay Geula has a strong background in biomedical research and entrepreneurship. They are currently the Co-founder and Head of Biology at Renewal Bio, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, Shay was an Inventor and Co-Founder at CatchMe Therapeutics starting from December 2019. They also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from April 2017 to July 2022. Before that, Shay was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science from February 2016 to April 2017, specializing in the Department of Molecular Genetics.

Shay Geula completed a Bachelor's degree at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree at the same university from 2008 to 2011. Shay then continued their education at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they obtained a Ph.D. in the Laboratory for Pluripotent Stem Cell Studies from 2011 to 2016.
