Matt Fortuna

Matt Fortuna has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt most recently served as the President of Rensa Filtration since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the President and Managing Director of LAPP Tannehill, where they provided excellent customer service and value-added services related to wire, cable, tubing, and connectors.

Before their role at LAPP Tannehill, Fortuna held the position of President at Hercules OEM from August 2019 to September 2022. There, they managed the distribution of custom-molded gaskets, o-rings, and seals across various industries.

Fortuna also has a strong background in leadership roles at Donaldson, where they held various positions. Matt was the General Manager for Liquid Filtration and Aerospace and Defense, responsible for global strategies and execution in these sectors. Matt also worked as a Director in Defense Ground Vehicle, Disk Drive, and Semiconductor roles.

Earlier in their career, Fortuna held engineering and plant operations management positions, showcasing their expertise in advanced manufacturing and process engineering.

Overall, Matt Fortuna has extensive experience in strategic leadership, sales and marketing, operations, and finance across a wide range of industries such as filtration, distribution, and manufacturing.

Matt Fortuna completed their undergraduate education from 1988 to 1992 at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on structural analysis. After pursuing a career in engineering, they returned to university and attended the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance and Management.
