Alexander Marinov

Alexander Marinov has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Alexander recently worked as a Technical Lead Engineer at Rent. starting in March 2019. Before that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Intelibo from August 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Intechnica from January 2018 to July 2018. Alexander also held the position of Chief Technical Officer at Intelibo from March 2015 to December 2017. Alexander has also worked as a Solution Architect/Consultant at Canal Digital AS from December 2015 to December 2016. Alexander worked for AVIQ Bulgaria Ltd. as the Chief Technology Officer for eight years from March 2007 to March 2015. Alexander was a PhD Researcher at the University of Barcelona for a brief period in 2011. Alexander started their career as a Software Engineer at Haemimont AD in September 1999 and has since held various roles in different organizations, including Consulting Software Engineer at AVIQ Systems AG from February 2003 to February 2007, and Software Engineer at Verax Interactive Ltd. from June 2000 to September 2002.

Alexander Marinov's education history is as follows:

From 2006 to 2012, they attended the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where they pursued a PhD (short of thesis) in the field of Artificial Intelligence, specifically in Image Processing and Recognition.

Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they studied at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence.

In the years 2002 to 2004, they attended the Technical University of Sofia, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Math and Informatics.

Lastly, from 1991 to 1996, they completed their secondary education at GPCE "Aleko Konstantinov" in Pravec, where their field of study was French Language and Literature.

Additionally, in December 2014, they obtained a certification in "Mining Massive Datasets" from Coursera.
