Sophie Hughes

Sophie Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sophie most recently worked at Rentals United, where they served as the Head of People starting in December 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Human Resources Business Partner at the same company, starting in February 2019.

Before joining Rentals United, Sophie co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Happy Milk: Coworking & Kids Club from January 2017 to June 2018. Sophie also held the role of Community Manager and Co-founder at the same company from March 2015 to December 2016.

Sophie briefly worked as a Team Coordinator at Kids&Us Language School for three months in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an English Language Teacher at British Council from September 2014 to June 2015, where they were responsible for dynamic content creation, translation, organization of conversation groups, and integration support for children with disabilities. Sophie also worked as a Language Assistant at British Council from September 2012 to June 2013.

Through their various roles, Sophie has gained experience in HR, management, education, and language instruction.

Sophie Hughes obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from EAE Business School from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Aberystwyth University, which they completed from 2010 to 2014.
